Privacy Policy

• Account: username and/or phone number, profile (name, email, image), settings.
• Security: authentication tokens, device IDs/tokens (FCM/APNs/VoIP), public keys.
• Messaging & Calls: metadata (participants, timestamps, delivery/read, call status/duration); uploaded files/recordings.
• Content protection: message/file contents are stored encrypted at rest. A strictly limited, audited superadmin process can decrypt content using protected keys for abuse-handling/compliance where permitted by law.
• Diagnostics: minimal logs and health signals to keep services reliable.

• Operate core features (auth, profiles, chats, calls, file transfer, WebLink pairing, notifications).
• Security, abuse prevention, fraud detection, and troubleshooting.
• Service communications (e.g., critical notices, verification).

• We use vetted processors for hosting, push/email/SMS delivery, and media storage under data protection agreements.
• We may disclose information where required by law or to protect users and our services.
• Data may be processed in multiple countries with appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) where applicable.

• General account/usage data: typically retained ~730 days or until account deletion.
• Operational logs: typically retained ~365 days.
• We delete or anonymize when no longer necessary, subject to legal holds.

We use HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest, key management, least-privilege access, monitoring, and audit trails. No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously harden our defenses.
